There are many arts, activities and country history broken into different areas through out the museum. There are six permanent galleries which include the New Territories Heritage Hall, the Cantonese Opera Heritage Hall, the Orientation Theature, the T.T Tsui Gallery of Chinese Art and the Chao Shao-an Gallery. Kids will find some interesting things in the Children’s Discovery Gallery.
In addition to the permanent galleries, there are some spaces that bring in traveling displays to the museum making it a great place to visit on a regular basis for the locals as well as foreign visitors.
